    I've been in and out of the UC Davis medical center for the past 10 days and it gives me a greater appreciation of what it is to be a nurse/RN. My mom is doing better but it's disheartening to see her strapped to 20 tubes going every which way and a giant tube going down her throat. In other news I've got a new laptop that isn't running gentoo linux so I'll be able to upload some *raw* songs that I just wrote. They'll be me just strictly on the guitar and vocals recording with one mic onto a microphone that I bought from radioshack. Thanks to Alexandra for the hint on that one. I can pretty much record anywhere I go now. Also, julian, his badass brother brendan (who is sick of so-cal like me), and my friend Hanan are all planning on moving to San francisco in the coming months... so if you know of a cheap / cool place to stay in the city let me know. I'll do something awesome for you. Whatever awesome means to you. I've also placed a new piece of artwork in the pictures section. All of the work is done using linux's GIMP (Gnome image manipulation projection) - so no i'm not just stealing photoshop to do all of this stuff. I'm planning on making prints/posters of the works. Anyone else interested in getting one printed? Let me know. Love ya'll.
