Fictional Writings of Elleander Grey

  • At the corner of the room were a set of stairs and the two quickly ascended the flight of stairs to the room above. It looked exactly like the room below except now there was a hole in the floor where they had just previously been admiring from below. Elleander spoke again “this one is strange, we'll come back much later.” Dillon's brows contorted in confusion. There was yet another set of stairs and the two hurried up these to find themselves in yet another room exactly like the one they were in before. This time Elleander beckoned to Dillon. “Come look at the hole.” Elleander and Dillon both started for the square hole in the ground. Elleander hushed Dillon. “Shh.” But Dillon could hardly keep from gasping as every single little hair on his body stood up, a chill rushed into his bones, and a general paralysis set in. A rusted metallic noise squeaked like a mouse as two pigeons sat on the bar in the square opening. The sound was like long nails screeching down a chalk board. He gazed in fear as he looked down the square hole he saw only one room below even though they had climbed two staircases with two openings in the roof in the exact same spot. “Yay!!” Elleander cried in delight. Dillon felt a sigh of relief wave over him as he felt Elleander's genuinely project something other than fear, in facthappiness, but still, he wanted to pinch himself to see if this was a dream. Elleander explained little. “It's because you're here!” Elleander's face smiled brightly. “There's two of them now because you're here.” Dillon stared in confusion while Elleander continued to smile and disregard his friend's reaction. Elleander grabbed Dillon by the hand to break him of his paralysis and began lead him back downstairs. Dillon finally gathered courage enough to ask, “What about in here?” Elleander's mood suddenly changed. “It's not the same. Don't bother looking.” Dillon was even more puzzled and wanted very much to be out of the strange building.
