Fictional Writings of Elleander Grey

  • Anyway, about Blonde. Basking in her blonde goodness, she walked, not a typical walk though, it was as if she had skated on diamonds for the better part of another life. Every step she took presented another road that she kept in the back of her mind, always allowing herself one more option. I knew her without knowing her. I could feel her touch inside of me without knowing it on the surface. Her walk, yes it kept me from thinking those other things that I knew did not bring me joy. Yes, I found it in blonde. I used to wonder what the others thought of her, just simply to gain insight to one’s own mistaken thoughts. I knew I was not mistaken though, her presence was felt by me since that one moment in time. The tick of the clock for that one second, I had finally realized what she was. How could such an exemplified moment exist to me I wondered. Her traits were so obvious, but the mystery was still there. It was truly obvious. Tending towards incoherence I likened her once again to the grays in the background of it all. The profuse manner in which the bellhop and other guests noticed her caused all the colors to come back to me. Oh yes, the red. I had forgotten about red. It swayed up and down on top of the onyx topped table in the terrace window’s ceiling. It swooped down in wonder upon all of the guests in a manner not unlike a lioness upon her cub. So violent, but not so intrusive as to make them comment upon it’s grandeur. The texture is what made me sink into it. It is where I first saw red. It is also where I first saw blonde. But I knew them both, they went hand in hand, or color in color if I my mind allowed my own confusing phrase. Even though today was the first day I had truly seen them, truly seen them because everything was grey I saw them. In reality, yes, I had seen them before, but it wasn’t a distant past, a yesterday only a few hours ago but long forgotten; and completely separate. They were one in the same now.
